What download manager with resume are you folks using at the moment with
F'fox?
Their plug-in page is a bit out of date and 'Star Downloader' has
stopped integrating every time for me.

I haven't had to use it, but the built-in download manager supports resume,
or at least pausing and resuming.

hi

get a ff extention "downloadwith" and then you can use whatever
downloadclient you want.

https://update.mozilla.org/extensions

!! little problem with downloadwith extention through...it's not
packened for ff 1.0, just for 0.9 but at

http://www.extensionsmirror.nl/

you can install a repacked (but unsigned) version that do work with ff v1.0.

Ah! That was yesterday. V1.00RC is now out so it's back to the start all
over again. I don't know how much longer I can take this before I go
back to a IE shell.

Fresh Download works well for me - and the "Download With" extension.

Why not just keeping using what's working for a while? I've got FF 0.9.3
working AOK and I plan to get it for a while yet.

Not quite a download manager, but DownThemAll is a very helpful utility.

System requirements:
In order to use FDM, you must have one of the following operating
systems and browsers installed on your computer:
* Microsoft Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000/XP
* Internet Explorer 5.0 and above.

No mention of Firefox, or any other browser, on the site that I can find.

FDM works great with Firefox. It's easily configured to work with FF by
using the "Options->Monitoring" menu. There, it gives you the option to
specifically use FF. I've been using FF with FDM for almost a couple of
months and have had no problems. (I have Windows XP SP2 and IE 6.)

Not freeware. The registration fee is US$29.95.

Strictly speaking FlashGet appears to be shareware. The shareware version
of FlashGet carries advertising and nags, but you can opt to remove these
by registration (which, as you say, costs $29.95).

AFAIK the shareware version has exactly the same functionality as the
registered version.
