double click on icons, nothing happens.

Nothing happens when you double click on any icons. Get an hourglass then it
goes away. PC boots up, and can shut down properly. May be a virus, but
unable to do a virus scan.

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.
