DOS & WFW Clients

A

ANDY

We are planning to migrate from NT4 domain to W2k AD.

Because of legacy apps, we have the following Client mix:
DOS, Windows for Workgroups (WFW) 3.11/3.12, W95, w98,
NT, 2000.

Does W2k AD support DOS and WFW 3.11/3.12 Clients?? DOes
it matter if the AD is mixed or native?

Thank you.

I really appreciate all your help.

You can use DOS and WFW to authenticate to AD. If you are planning to use Ad
in WS2k3 then you need to turn off SMB signing. See
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=811497 for more details. Domain mode (mixed
or native) has nothing to do with this.
