DOS problem in Windows XP

Dear All,

We just installed Windows XP in a new PC
but our DOS accounting program although it works..

in window and full screen mode it only covers
50% of the screen instead of 100% in windows98
the program is like it is shrunk upwards from 100% (wni98) to 50% (winXP)
with all windows menus fonts etc. shrunk smaller.

I only wish there was a property like 'stretch to full screen'
as in some game emulators.

Please help as everything being smaller is
making it difficult to work.

Thanking you in advance,
Carlos.

Have you tried alt-enter for a full screen "DOS" box?

What about alt-space (or mouse click on the left of the box border) +
properties? You can change the font size, the screen layout, etc. and
save it to the a .pif file used to start the accounting progie.

Thanks! i'm almost there!!

alt-enter does the trick:

i click the .pif program starts then alt-enter and it's full screen100%!

if the .pif is in shorcut>run>maximized or Options>Display options>full
screen
program gets shrunk to 50%

Now i have to find a way that when i click the .pif
it automatically does alt-enter
without me hitting alt-enter every time
when i start the program

Thanks very much Joel!
Carlos.

Full screen should give you the Alt-Enter effect, but Maximized will
not. Maximized scales as large as possible while still using windowed
display API, so it's not what you want.

I find that it usually "remembers" the Alt-Enter effect if I apply
that while running, then close (exit) the app like that.
