DOS Games on XP

Theres any way to start my PC directly to MS-DOS sys to put some DOS-Games
for my little Nephews, cause they are trying to play LION KING and runs with
NO SOUND and REALLY SLOW on XP, Even on the DOS PROMP runs slow...

Have you tried right clicking the icon to start the program, select
properties, then select the Compatibility mode and set it to Windows 98 or
another OS, see how that works.
