DOS full screen CAPTURE runing under Windows XP

CH Choong

Hi!

I have a software that runs in DOS. This application
works fine under Windows XP but only in full screen mode
(graphics VGA). I need to capture frequent graphics
screen shots from this DOS program running under Windows
XP. When "Printscreen" is pressed I only get a black
image square from the previews of my print screen
utility. How can I capture a Full DOS screen as a image
under Windows XP. I've already tried more than dozen
print screen capture utilities but non seems to work.
Many hours and days had been spent on to find the
solution without any success. My DOS program always work
fine in DOS full screen capture under Windows 9x
previously.

I look forward to any solutions.

Thanks.

Regards

Hi CH Choong,

I have the same problem with a similar application.

Have you now found a solution?

Start>All Programs>Accessories>Command Prompt
Rightclick the Command Prompt>Properties>Layout tab
There you can reconfigure the size of the DOS windows
to your satisfaction. When done click Apply and OK.

Hi XP - WNP

Your solution is OK if the DOS application can be located in a windows
screen.
In my application, as in the problem that CH Choong outlined, the DOS
image is in Full screen and cannot be located in a small windows screen
following the normal procedure that you advised.

However, I have now found a solution! If CH Choong has not already
found a solution, I will be pleased to communicate it to him. It is
rather tortuous, but it works!
