Don't want web address hyperlinked

I am using Outlook 2002 on XP. My messages are set up as
Rich text, and I do not edit the message in Microsoft
Word. I would like the web address in the signature (or
any web addressed typed within an email) to not be
hyperlinked. Is this possible without turning on the "Use
Microsoft Word to edit e-mail messages" option?

It may not be possible in a rich-text message at all, certainly not without
using Word as the email editor.
