Signature Format

Lisa

I would like to have my signature include a link to my e-
mail address and the companies web address. We do not
want the e-mail to say mailto: or the web address to say
www. I have tried to use the advanced edit function in
the signature editor and open Word and create hyperlinks.
They are correct in Word but when I close the RTF, it
reverts back in the signature. I have attempted this in
Rich text and html format. We are using Outlook 2000 on
Win 98. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you,
Lisa

Hi Lisa
I am fairly certain that within a HTML signature then you
would need to have at least the "www" part otherwise
Outlook wont be able to recognise it as being a web link
in the first place. With regards to the email address then
if I go into the signature picker and edit the signature I
have already set up, add in the email address
(e-mail address removed) then hit return/enter then Outlook
recognises that it is an email address, I assume that this
is what you are looking for ? or did you want it to not
show the email address at all like you have on web pages,
kind of like "click here to email us" ?

Hope this helps
Regards
Davidt
