Don't display screen names???

When I was using Windows 2000, Messenger had the option to
display your contacts screen names, or their e-mail
addresses. Can I do the same thing with the messenger
that comes wtih XP? I perfer to look at people's e-mail
address's, as they change their screen names often. Any
help will be greatfully accepted.

Windows Messenger (the .NET Messenger client that comes with Windows XP) does not have this
feature -- however you can always install MSN Messenger (6.x) which does have this feature on
Windows XP:

To fix this, simply open the main Messenger window, click the Contacts menu, then Manage
Contacts, then View Contacts By, and choose Display name.
