Done, but with errors on page

Re: Done, but with errors on page

Windows XP Home, HP PC, Wireless router with DSL.

In mid-March I renewed my Computer Associates Security Suite.

Soon, I began having problems with boot-up speed, as well as other annoying
problems when online.

I also had Bell South internet service at the time, and thought that might
be part of the problem. Ultimately, I had the computer repaired as it was
barely responding. The repair guy said that Windows was corrupted; he
removed and saved everything, cleaned the computer, and put everything back.

However, since then I have had problems with many websites, or sometimes a
link within a website. The error message reads: Done, but with errors on
page (or sometimes, just: Error on page.)

I can't figure out if this has something to do with JavaScript and if so,
what can I do about it? Using IE 6.x, 1024 RAM, 80 Gig HD.

Thanks!

Could be Java or similar. Could be MS Word if interlaced with IE.

Sorry Novice, I have been receiving the same message from Windows Explorer
every since I upgraded to Windows XP Pro. I have not found a solution. I
can’t even find out what “Done with errors†means.

I wonder if there is something on the page that I am not seeing? Or perhaps
this a joke Microsoft is playing on us?

If you find a solution or even any information about this, please post it
here. I think a lot of users will be interested in any thing you find out
about this error message.
