domain & workgroup ??

I have a laptop that has W2K, set up with a domain for
work. I want to be able to print with it when at home, and
to connect to other pc's there. How do I suspend the
domain and just work with a workgroup while at home??

Log into the domain as normal - make sure you're getting the right IP
information, either thru DHCP or setting manually, and you're good to go.
Make sure you can ping the other PCs, both by IP and name...and map drives
if you like in Windows Explorer. You will need to provide the remote
computers' local credentials when connecting to the shares.

Do NOT remove your computer from the domain and change to a workgroup under
any circumstances, or you will lose your profile and will likely prevent
yourself from being able to log in til you go back to work and grovel in
front of your sysadmin.
