Domain/Workgroup Login problem

Hey,
I tried to connect my work laptop to my LAN at home and removed the domain
and added workgroup under my computer properties. Since then my computer does
not log in with my (work)user anymore neither I have password of the admin
pass and NOT want to brake it.
My question is how can I get it back as it was so I dont need to go to the
IT guy at work who might report my conduct with the company computer...any
thing with startup?!

Sorry Sergio,
Unless you can reinstall and then restore a full backup with
system state, the other way to return the machine to the domain
is by rejoining it. Rejoining might be delegated to user accounts
like your domain account, but likely not, so it is something those
that run the domain need to do.

There is nothing wrong with your conduct... unless you were told not to
do it! Tell your IT guys what you did and ask them to setup your laptop
to do what you want, I'm sure they will be more than happy to do it for
you. That's one of the points of a laptop, it has to work where you
want it to work!

For IT guys it's like sending the new kid for a bucket of steam...
you're not the first, nor the last, don't forget the prop wash on your
way back...
