I am not sure exactly what you mean by domain policy as there is Group
Policy but maybe you mean something else. For Group Policy settings you can
run rsop.msc on the client computer to generate a report that shows what
Group Policy settings are being applied and by what GPO.

thats what i mean :-)

and how can i see the last time an update happened, the reason for asking is
that we changed our domain policy(group policy) for users(not for computers)
and i want too see if this policy applies when a user logs on

An easy way is to have the client logon to his computer and run rsop.msc on
it and then review the results by expanding the folders to see applied
settings and to see if the user actually expereinces the Group Policy
settings. You can also run the Resultant Set of Policy mmc snapin on a
domain controller and run a report in logging mode for the users/computer in
question. Also you can logon to the domain computer and run the command
gpresult to see what Group Policies are being applied to the user and the
last time the policy was applied.

strangely enough,i see the polciy when using rsoplogging, but the policy is
disabled according to this tool.also, qwhen checking the first tab,its greyed
out....

You mean the Group Policy is disabled or the setting is disabled??
