Domain not available

I am trying to connect to a domain that is set up in the office running on
Server 2003. Other devices, including PCs and Laptops connect just fine
either wirelessly or hard wired. The company just acquired a new Compaq
V2000 laptop and wants to connect it to the domain. Whenever the selection
is made upon logging in, a message comes back stating that the domain is not
available. Any Thoughts?

Check how the laptop is setup.
