Domain name Query??

I had a problem with a Domain controller (win2k sp4). I had to re-install it
and it needed the same domain name. Now there are around 20 PC's
(win98\2k\xp)that were joined to the old domain, I've heard that you have to
re-join all of them again even though the domain name is the same?? I have
also been getting errors in the event log about certain pc's logins failing
with the domain trust. I can go around these machines and re-join them but
what happens if I have a network of 100's whats the best approach to make
sure I don't have to re-join them all manually?

I'm pretty sure there is no other was but to do it manually. As far as I'm
aware joining the domain for the first time is all about security. You
gotta prove that you have permission to join the domain.
