Hi All,

Does anyone know of any system or software package that
can record user login statistics for a windows 2000/2003
domain? We have a number of learning centres that are
part of a single domain, connected over a WAN and would
find it extremely useful for reporting purposes, to
record user login statistics. i.e. when users login, from
what subnet etc. Any suggestions welcome.

Cheers.

Hello Jimmy,

I believe the Usrstat.exe from the 2000 Resource Kit might be useful.

Thanks Mohanchand,

The usrstat.exe tool is quite handy for a quick overview
of the latest logon stats, but what I'm looking for is a
much more powerful system that can produce some nice
usage reports. I was hoping there would be a commercial
piece of software that would do the job but I've not
found anything yet.

Would it may be possible to have a login script that
recorded the date and time someone logged into the domain
and recorded this, along with the username, is a database?

Any suggestions welcome.

Cheers,

Jimmy
