We have a user on a laptop. When he's at the office he
logs on to a domain, but when mobile has to log on locally.

How do I make it so the user has one profile? When roaming
and makes changes, those changes will still be there when
he logs on to a domain.

If more is needed to clarify, please let me know.

Urgently yours - Rob

Have him always log into the domain - even when offline, using cached
credentials. Get rid of the local user account. Then there's only one
profile, only one login, etc.

There is no need to log on locally when there no domain controller is
available (that is when u r outside the office) you can use domain cached
credential for this purpose

People usually login locally in absence of domain controller is due to
delay in logon time

You can reduce the login time in absence of domain controller using below
link
Note that this link is written to in crease the time. But you can use same
steps to decrease time
