Does Windows Media Player 11 support Dual-Layer DVD recorders?

I ask only because I have a Dual Layer DVD recorder with a Dual Layer Disc in
the drive, the entire disc contains music (all of my music backed up) -- but
WMP11 refuses to read it. When I click on "Play", and then hover on "DVD,
VCD or CD Audio" -- it shows that drive greyed out -- but the other one is
ready to be clicked on.

Any ideas

HAven't tried that. What format are the files?

I'm cross-posting to the media player newsgroup where MSFT is monitoring
v11 beta issues.

I answered his question in the Subject matter, not the body of the post.
It may or may not correct his situation, for it looks like his copy of WMP11
may have corrupt files or is not installed properly. Another possibility is
that his DVD drive needs to be updated with the proper drivers. If you check
the website I referred him to, you will find a lot of reference material to
research.
