does not detect camera

Hello; I have tried everything i no to automaticly detect my camera and
nothing works !Is there anything elese i can change to make it work???
It seems that it detects every plug and play devise i have but my
camera !!I even removed my camera softwhere and reinstalled it and
still nothing !!! It stopped detecting my camera all by itself
!! Nothing was changed it the settings;;;Just one night i tried to
download my pics and couldnt !!! This is driving me nutts i dont no
how this happened !! Thanks in advance for any advise !!!! CN

is the camera switched on when you plug it in? open up control panel
and i think there is a scanner and printer wizard in there that you can
import your files from, if that doesnt see the camera you will need to
download the drivers from the manufacturers website.

Have you tried to see if your camera can be detected without the camera
software being installed. I personally do not use the software that came
with my camera. I connect the camera, turn it on and it is detected. Then
I use copy and paste, or drag and drop to move pictures. Just my 1/2 cent
input.

What camera and related camera software have you installed? Have you checked
the camera makers eb site for updates or advisoriers on their KB's?
