Does Kazaa create computer problems?

Since I've been burnt by other downloads, I should like to have some advice
about Kazaa, the music sharing system: is it safe to download or do you get
into all sorts of computer problems, spy ware and God knows what?

Fadel,

Kazaa definitely has its payload of spyware. If you want to try out Kazaa
without the spyware, I would suggest using Kazaa Lite, which can be found at
http://www.kazaalitekpp.com, choose Kazaa Lite K++ on the left under
Downloads.

The Fasttrack network (Kazaa/Kazaa Lite/etc.) is filled with virus and
trojans.

Spyware varies by service. As to viruses, that's a major haszard with any
file sharing sevice. Remember, you are not downloading from the service,
you are downloading from someone else's computer, someone you don't know and
have no way of knowing in terms of intention or what they might do. That's
why file sharing is a risky business no matter which such service you use.
