Does DHCP keep a log of assigned IP address: on Client

I am looking for ay information that would allow me to view the history of IP addresses that have been assigned to my computer via DHCP. Since I am no longer able to receive an address from the DHCP server ( although I have network connectivity), I was going to staticly assign the address, but I am not sure what IP class that was in.
In the event viewer I receive the event ID 1003, now it is just a matter of guessing what range I was on...
