Does anyone know why the 'COLOR' command might not work?

On my XP box, the COLOR command doesn't work properly. When run from
the command window, 'COLOR 1F' should produce a white on blue command
window, but for me it's white on red. On my co-workers box it's white
on blue, as it should be.

Do you know what might cause this?

Thanks!
