IE7 or IE8 does not display Some pictures and background colors.

I have been beating my head on this one, when I browse I cannot see some of
the pictures or background colors for any website. I had IE7 but installed
IE8 to try to resolve the problem and it did not work. An example would be
bringing up msn, it has the blue borders on each side but they only come up
white. Any help on this problem? I have tried a diffferent monitor but it
didn't help.

What happens if you try internet options>>Advanced tab>>rest button. Upon
resettingt to default settings, do you still see the issue.

Kindly post your queries in IE forum.

I tried that before I installed IE8 and did not work. The color in Word
documents and pictures are fine, just when I'm on the internnet is when there
is a problem.

I recently upgraded to IE8 and now I have the same problem as Schatz. My
background colors are wrong. Using Windows default colors does not help.
When I configure manual colors through the Internet Options/Color button I
can set them, but they are not accurate for the sites I'm viewing. When I
revert to Windows default, the colors are wrong. It seems that all the
background colors are white.
I loaded Mozilla to see if it behaved the same way, and it does. All the
background colors are white on Mozilla as well.
I uninstalled MS FrontPage, re-installed it, and that did not fix the problem.
I attempted to un-install IE8. I successfully downloaded IE7, but could not
un-install IE8. IE7 will not load because "Windows detected a never version
of Internet Explorer." Can anyone help me?
