Documents and Settings

I would like to setup Windows XP in the following way:
I would like to use a C drive and D drive, where the D
drive should house the Documents and Setting folder. This
folder, however, is installed by default on the C drive
and when moving it to the drive the system complaints
about it.
My question is: How can I tell Windows during setup to
create the Documents and Settings folder somewhere other
than its default location?
Is there a solution for this?

start run REGEDIT

then goto

My Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Current
version\Explorer\Shell folders
My Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Current
version\Explorer\UserShell folders

you can change the location here

I wouldn't recommend doing that though.. the Documents and Settings should be on the same drive as the boot drive (the one with XP on it...) You still can though... lo
