Hello All:
I'm the only user on this pc and in my documents and settings folder I have -

C:\Documents and Settings\NetworkService.NT AUTHORITY
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner.YOUR-ZE8CXVR8TT.000
C:\Documents and Settings\christmas.mht
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator.HP7566.000
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users
C:\Documents and Settings\Default User
C:\Documents and Settings\HelpAssistant
C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService
C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService.NT AUTHORITY
C:\Documents and Settings\NetworkService


Is there anyway I can combine these and have just one or two folders. I saw a previous post talking about CI information that did a master merge but I can't figure out how to start it.

Right now I think my computer is using the hp7566.000 account but Im not sure. Does anyone know the difference between Ownder and Administrator? Why can I be - Owner - adminstrator - all user - default user?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

"All Users" shouldn't be removed - it's used to store settings that apply to
all users on your system.

The others should probably be left alone too.

The fact that you have both Administrator and Owner seems to apply that this
machine was on a domain (corporate network) at some point - is this the
case?

Thanks for your reply, its never been on a corporate network but I did
reinstall a couple of times. Is there any way to get rid of the .000 items
and just have the owner and default user again?
