I have a presentation that I need to write protect. How can I do that?

I have PowerPoint 2000 SP-3 running on Windows XP.

Save your PPT as a Show (pps). Then start a new pres and
save that as a show. In your new show, Insert>Object,
then insert your original show. Now your presentation
cannot be edited.

I wouldn't be the farm on on that. That'll only keep fairly naive users at
bay. It won't in any way protect your presentation or its contents.

Hint, start PPT, use file, open to open the "container" presentation.
Right-click the "contained" presentation and look for the Open item on one of
the submenus.

You can then edit the presentation and/or save a copy.
