Just download the new version to your desktop. Double-
click on the icon. This will start the instal process.
You will have to reboot when it is finished installing.
That is what I did several hours ago and everything went
just fine. No need to reload the definitions either since
it keeps what you had.

Yes, I can confirm that. After installing the update over the new version,
would freeze whenever I tried to update it. I am doing a complete uninstall
and reinstalling the new version.
