If I enter the web site...www.google.com for example...
IE6 will return www.google.com.mx
If I go to the command line and ping or tracert the url
the dns replys with the correct "english" address.
Why would IE return the Mexico site in spanish.
The system default is set to english.

Any Ideas ?

Where are you connecting to the internet? Could your ISP route via Mexico??
Google tries to determine the your location by reverse lookup on your IP and
will direct you to their most local site. So even if you type
www.google.com , they redirect you. Does this occur with other sites?
