Unable to open page in IE, but tracert and ping okay....

have been having an intermittent problem with some websites. in particular
www. bwtorrents.com
IE6 returns 'timeout' error or goes to search page looking for the dns
tracert and ping get to the site okay
any ideas on what it could be?

Even if server response on pings web server can be in down. If you want
verify web server state try to telnet it on port 80

telnet bwtorrents.com 80
