DNS registration

Whenever one of my computer re-boots I get the following error in Event
Viewer:

"The system failed to register network adapter with settings:

Adapter Name : {F8498E86-B9AF-4AA3-8E6E-5C5BFDD5CD24}

Adapter-specific Domain Suffix : celliott.us

The IP 192.1.1.1 address does not exist either on the LAN or WAN.

These servers are mine (192.168.1.95, 192.168.1.96, 192.168.1.89,
192.168.0.95,
192.168.0.96).

Why is the computer trying to send a DNS update to 192.1.1.1?
How can I fix this?

Check the options on your DHCP server (if one is in use) - does it have this
bogus address listed in the options for DNS entries? If no DHCP server
exists then check the device that is administering DHCP for you (some
routers and switches do this).

Which Topology you are using, Domain based, or peer-to-peer?
What server means, Real Server OS (like Windows 2008) or client computers?
It seems to me that you have mixed Topology.

I would also add to the previous comments that cellliott.us resolves to an
Internet-side IP. Not knowing your topology I can't comment on whether this
would cause problems, but in principle a computer shouldn't have a domain
suffix which belongs to a foreign IP range.

Computers which are not Active Directory members don't need a domain suffix.
For AD members the suffix should one which resolves to the internal domain.
