DNS Issue

Hi:

Environment===>> window 2000 servers with windows 2000 clients. One Domain,
One site.
I install DNS on domain controller with Static IP address as 192.168.0.200
default gateway as
192.168.0.1 (my router's address)
in Preferred DNS i entered the IP Address of this server as 192.168.0.200
All my clients on "Obtain IP addresss Automatically thru DHCP. My Firewall
is working as DHCP.

Now on my clients i have this error in Application Event Viewer
Source "Userenv", Event ID: 1000

"Windows cannot determine the username or computer name. Return Value
(1722).

Please help me to resolve this problem.

Did you create a scope on dhcp? Did you authorize the dhcp to serve out
ip_addresses in AD? Is the Sysvol directory available? Can clients ping the
servers?
