DNS error

i get a dns error when i try and go on a website.
comcast says i am connected to the internet, it's just my
computer. I have no idea what i should do. It works for
1 or 2 new websites when i click "detect network
settings" or when i go into Network Connections>>Local
Area COnnection 2 Status>>SUpport>>and I click Repair.
Someone help

First try:
Download and run LSP-Fix from http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm
Note: Don't check the "I know what I'm doing box." Let the program do it's
work.

Then, find and remove the malware which probably caused the problem.
Download, install, *update* and run both of these programs:
Ad-aware from http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/
Spybot from http://security.kolla.de/ (Remove items listed in red-others are
optional.)
Both programs should be updated after installation- before use.
