DNS & DSL modem

I have a Win2K AD computer and a linksys router with a DSL modem.

My question is how do I setup DSN on AD? Do I have the forward pointers in
DNS point to the DNS numbers from my DSL provider?

Have your AD DNS server point to itself for DNS ( in the properties of
TCP/IP) Point all AD Clients to your AD DNS server ONLY. Configure your AD
DNS server to forward requests and list your ISP's DNS server as the
forwarder.

Ok. still having client problems. I have a linksys router acting as a
router NOT a gateway. Should the Gateway IP address be the Linksys' IP or
the AD's IP?

If I'm following you correctly it should be the router IP.
