I know when it usually says .dll initialization failed it
usually means a component of the program you are trying
to run is missing. However, everytime i go to turn off or
restart my computer, that error message comes up, and
sometimes wont let me turn off/restart my computer
without manually pushing the button. The message just
keep popping up, but i'm not running any programs...can
anyone help?

Hi Taylor,

Start/run "sfc /scannow" to verify the system file set. If a .dll file is
corrupt, this should find it and replace it.

Otherwise, you need to isolate what is trying to "turn off" when you are
shutting down.
