Hello, and thank you in advance for reading my post.
After using a few installers for some private Ragnarok
Online servers, I found out that one had manage to
delete/corrupt some .dll files required the use the very
setup files that I had been running; other setup files
seemed to not use these .dll files and were unaffected.
The error message stated that mss32.dll was missing, and
the setup could not exicute. So, I went onto the
internet, googled the .dll file, and downloaded one, then
threw it into my system folder. Now, it says: "The
procedure entry point _AIL_close_digital_driver@4 could
not be located in the dynamic link library mss32.dll." .
Obviously, the dll file that I had downloaded off the
ineter wasn't the correct version. Now the quest I have
is how to restore this; it seems to be direct-x related,
but, as far as I know, direct-x doesn't like to be re-
installed, so I'm at a loss, and pretty frustrated. Also,
system restore isn't an option, because it generally has
had a bad reputation witht he people I've talked to, and
I've had it turned off (Until now, anyways).
Thanks again for your time,
David Morris
