dll errors - Reinstall Outlook XP after 2003 uninstalled

M

Mike Laskowski

I've recently uninstalled the beta of Office 2003 when it expired and
reinstalled Office XP. All of the other applications load and run fine but
I get an error message from Outlook stating:

mapir.dll is missing or corrupt

and

mapi32.dll is missing or corrupt...Reinstall Outlook

I can't find any documentation on mapir.dll and mapi32.dll is the same
version as the install disk.

Thanks

Look for the MAPI folder and delete it (you may have to turn on hidden and
system files searching.) Then reinstall Outlook 2002.

Thank you. I expected that would do it but was unsure of that course of
action, since the folder wasn't in the MS shared folder.

Thanks again!
