Distribution lists

Is there a way that I can add a large number of contacts
to a distribution list, instead of selecting them
manually? I have certain contacts that are put in
categories and I want to put these contacts in a
distribution list but there are 50 of them. Can a whole
category be added into a distribution list thereby adding
its contacts to the distribution list.

Not an easy way, but here's one that works. Change the Contacts Folder View
to by Category. Right click and drag the Category required to a newly
created Contacts subfolder then choose Copy. Make sure the new subfolder has
been enabled as an email address book by right clicking on it and choosing
Properties > Outlook Address Book Tab > and check the box to enable as email
address book. Create your new Distribution List and make sure the Show Names
drop down field points to this new subfolder then shift select all the
contacts and voila.
