Is there a limit to the amount of recipients who can appear in a
distribution list?

I've just tried, for the first time to send an email with a Word Document
attachment to 468 people, using Outlook 2003, and got an undeliverable email
notification saying that there were 452 too many recipients.

Sounds more like a limitation of the corporate/isp mail server. (They do
this to prevent users from sending unsolicited commercial email [spam].)
