Nathan

When i send an email to a distribution list (150 people) It sends it to about
10 and comes back with:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: Victoria Park
Sent: 15/01/2009 10:40

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

'Caroline Doxxxxxxxx' on 15/01/2009 10:41
452 Too many recipients

Can anyone advise?

Advise asking your mail provider. That's who sets these limits, not Outlook.

I was having problems sending to a large group of people too but of
course do now if the cause is the same.

First, like previously suggested, check with your ISP to see if they
limit the number of people being sent to at any one time (while there
ask about size of email too, just in case that might be a factor). If
their reply does not affect your amounts, then also check your email
account in Outlook to make sure the time limit for sending is not set
to low. Also, try unchecking the SPA box too if it is checked. Doing
both of these things fixed two problems for me so I am not sure if the
SPA box is related to this problem or not, but it can't hurt to try.

Tools
Account Settings
hi light the sending account
click Change
Uncheck the Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)
click on More Settings
Click Advanced tab
Set Server Timeouts to Long (10 minutes)

Pardon the typo above. I got interrupted too many times by the kids
and I didn't take the time to proof read...it is supposed to say...but
of course I do NOT KNOW if the cause is the same.
