Distribution list problem

I continue to get an Undeliverable response "452 too many recipients", even
tho I've recreated my original list of 120 names into four lists of 30 names
each.
 
Forgive me if this is an obvious question, but are you sending four emails,
one to each list, or are you sending one email with the four lists all in the
to?
 
I am sending four emails, one to each list, altho even if I send to just one
list I get the "too many recipients" response.
 
Problem solved. Went into Tools, Email Accounts, and moved through to get to
the Advanced buttin, where I found settings for incoming and outgoing mail.
My outgoing was set at only 25, so I increased it to accomodate my
distribution list.
 
I spoke too soon. That did not solve the problem. That setting referred to
the server port. Had to change back to '25'.

Your problem is that your SMTP server simply won't allow that many
recipients on a single message. Speak to the people who control the mail
server.
