DistMon fix not working

I have a user who gets the :
Compile error in the hidden module: DistMon

Whenever she starts or exits Excel. The knowledgebase
article said to move two PDF files from the office
startup... but even with these files gone this has not
worked.

I tried updating her Adobe Acrobat to 5.0.5, but this
didn't help.

I'm starting to suspect it is something buried in her
profile, because if I sign on to the PC, there isn't a
problem.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Hi Ron,

There are two potential XLStart folders and you have to make sure both
of them are clean. The first one is under the Office installation directory:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\XLStart

The second one is under each user profile at:

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application
Data\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART
