Dissapering partition Windows XP ?

Hi, My computer crashed and I had to reboot. My hd was partitioned into 3
drives. C:\ D:\ and E:\. For some reason after I rebooted the E:\ partition
doesn't show anymore ? I've tried in DOS and with partition magic and I can't
see it ?

Can anyone help me with this ?

Thanks ;)

Right-click on My Computer and select "Manage". Then select Disk Management
and see how it reports the state of your C drive.
The Graphic view should show "Disk 0", your C drive and the partitions
assigned. In your case, it should show C:, D: and E:. If E: doesn't show up,
the partition space for it should still show.
If it DOES show that partition, rt-click on it and see the menu options. You
can even assign a new drive letter to it temporarily just to see if that
shows up. You can change it back to E: if it does.
Either way, you should be able to tell what the Disk Manager thinks is there.
Since all three drive letters are on one drive I would say that the manager
would see all partitions.
