displaying send/receive progress

when i first set up outlook a dialog box appered when any mail was
sent/receieved. the kids have changed some setting and it no longer shows.
how do i get it back?
 
This was asked about 5 questions down.

Anyway;
Tools-> Send/Receive-> Send/Receive Settings-> Show Progress
there is also a tick box in the send/receive dialog.
 
You'd need to post your Outlook version for someone to be able to answer.
 
Tools->Send/Receive->Send/Receive settings->Show Progress...->UNcheck "Don't
show this dialog box during Send/Receive"
