Display several photo albums unattended

I have created several photo albums, each stored in a separate file. I've
set the transition of each album to advance the slide automatically after 2
seconds. I want PowerPoint to display them, one after the other, unattended.
After it's finished one photo album, I want it to automatically move to the
next. Can this be done?

Thanks for your help,
Fred.

The easiest way is to put them all into one big presentation. This looping
presentation will need to be restarted every couple of days, and that can be
automated easier if the single file is placed in the start-up folder.

I forgot to ask, how long will the unattended loop need to run for? Months?
Days? hours?

Also, what version of PowerPoint is installed on the machine that will run
the presentation?

Thanks for the reply.

I'm using PowerPoint XP (2002). I want the presentation to continue for
about a half hour. There are about 35 photo albums with a total of around
300 pictures.

If I put them in one presentation, is it possible maintain each album as a
group (something like an outline). For example, when I right click on the
screen, choose the Go menu, is it possible to see a list of just the photo
albums, rather than all the slides?

3 easy methods jump to mind (all running from a single large slideshow):

1) Create links to each chapter's starting slide (along the bottom edge of
the master slide), then keep that area clear so you can always click on one
of the hyperlinks.

2) Hide slide 1 and place links to each chapter start there. Then, during
the looping run, you can press the 1 key and then the ,enter. key to be
taken to slide 1. From there you can jump to whatever chapter you would
like.

In both of the above cases, the big loop will just be set to this location
and will continue past the chapter selected, once those pictures are shown.

3) Like option 2, hide slide 1. Create a series of links to custom shows
for each chapter. The main show will loop, skipping the menu slide (#1).
You can intervene and type 1 <enter> to get to the menu. Click on a link
and the chapter will loop until you hit the Esc, then it will send you back
to the menu slide. From the menu slide, advance normally to restart the
main loop.
