Some games (pool) needs to have 16 or 32 color quality and in XP home edition
service pack 2 does not have 32, which seemed more versitile for different
games on the MSN Game Zone. Bridge will run on 24 which was the setting when
Comp USA finished installing XP for me, but pool will not unless I go and
change this feature to 16 in the Display settings.

If I change the resolution from 800x600 to 1024x768 pixels, the task bar
disappears. When I change to the larger number pixels, pages fit better on
my 19 inch screen without loosing the scroll bar on the side of the page. I
hope there is a easy solution as I am not too savy. I was running Windows ME
and upgraded to XP, which I do like better. I also have Explorer 7 now.

You need to download and install the most up to date driver for your video
card..

It's up to the video drivers, not XP sp2. Upgrade the drivers for your
graphics card and you may have an option for 32 bit color resolution.

16 bit ain't bad.. just leave it there till you find updated drivers.

When you change to 1024x768 resolution, you need to adjust the monitor's
horizontal size and center to see the whole page. This is usually done
by the controls on the front of the monitor.
