display problem

everything on the desktop's real big, especially web pages which is real
annoying. i changed the adaptor and it's some what smaller now but the
resolution's now screwed up... it's at 8bit and the color's all messed up.
please help me change it.

Sounds like you changed the physical adapter but didn't install the driver
that came with it. Find the disc with the driver and install it. Once
that's done, you will be able to change resolution and colour depths.
