Display help please

I knew I should have left well enough alone. Don't know what I did, but I
want my display bigger as my eyes are deteriorating.

I moved the slider for the display and cannot get the resolution I had
before. Sorry if I am not making sense.

What I need is a simple font (at the moment it has gone to stretchy) and a
larger type face.

Hope someone can help me.

Also I like the old Windows display not the XP menus.

Thanks
Katherine

| Also I like the old Windows display not the XP menus.

Right Click on the Start Button and select Properties.

Select Start Menu Tab - check "Classic Start Menu"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

As for your display, what else did you do when you altered the slider?
Open up the Display Properties again and select the settings as you did before.
Did you at any stage select Advanced?
Did you change the DPI setting?
Did you change anything else anywhere else like the default fonts etc.

The more information you can give as to what you might have done, the more likely someone
may be able to assist you.
