This is being used in an Intranet application (behind a firewall), so security isn't that much of an issue in this case. I created this page on a fully patched WinXP Pro machine running FP 2003, and it definitely works as published. My only problem is the display format. When these files display, not only do they display as icons, but there is no way to change to "Detail" view.
Where do I change the system setting to display these files with details

Folder view settings are a systems setting. Also, opening C:\ via a we
page hyperlink is an *iffy* issue, as I believe this capability was disable
as part of a recent a security update which disables "cross domai
scripting." Even though it will work in Preview in browser mode on you
machine, it probably won't work from a "published" page
