Display Folder Contents in "Details" mode

Is there any way that I can use a hyperlink to display the contents of a hard disk folder in "Details" mode? I have no problem pointing the hyoerlink to a folder and having it display as "Icons", but otherwise I am stumped

Any help would be greatly appreciated

No.
Folder view settings are a systems setting. Also, opening C:\ via a web
page hyperlink is an *iffy* issue, as I believe this capability was disabled
as part of a recent a security update which disables "cross domain
scripting." Even though it will work in Preview in browser mode on your
machine, it probably won't work from a "published" page.

I think (if you're talking about on a local machine) that it's the
preference set by the user while in windows explorer.
If you really need something like the "details" page you could get a
directory viewer script which will look similar but you must be running a
server on the local machine.

This is being used in an Intranet application (behind a firewall), so security isn't that much of an issue in this case. I created this page on a fully patched WinXP Pro machine running FP 2003, and it definitely works as published. My only problem is the display format. When these files display, not only do they display as icons, but there is no way to change to "Detail" view.

Where do I change the system setting to display these files with details

OK. Intranet makes a difference.

As far as Detail view, it's an individual machine setting which I'm sure can
not be changed via a html page.

I, too, thought that it might have been an windows explorer setting, but

my default setting for all folders is "Details".

Is there a script or something that will let me post a dynamic, detailed

file list from a folder, and let users open files on it? I am able to do all
of this now EXCEPT for the "detailed" part.
