How do I open POWERPOINT in viewer mode in FrontPage?

How do I get a POWERPOINT presentation to open up directly in View mode in
Front Page? I have published my presentation into a folder. I have copied
the folder to my website. I have gone to the page and hyperlinked my icon to
the presentation. I then view it in a Browser to test it. I still have to
open it before it goes into viewer mode. There must be a waY I can just run
it.

No. This is by design. Browser manufacturers don't want things that you link
to to automatically play, they want the people to think about what they're
going to do before they open a file. Viruses can be embedded in almost any
file nowadays so they don't want anybody to open a file and just assume it's
ok. That's why users have to decide what to do, otherwise this would be a
huge security risk for your computer.

Thanks, Mark. I think I figured out another way to handle my sitiation
without using Powerpoint. Thanks for getting back to me.
