I have a problem with the "Display Email As" field in the Contacts folder in Outlook 2003.
This field seems automatically calculated from the email address and the full name of the contact, in the following form :
John Smith ((e-mail address removed))
The problem is that the SMTP server that we use (the one from the internet service provider) doesn't like the parenthesis at all. He would much prefer something like that :
John Smith <(e-mail address removed)>
I have passed countless hours looking for a way to modify this field, or to have only the email address shown when sending the message.
Is there any way to modify this behaviour ? Perhaps by developping a new form for contacts ?
